Product Details

A beautifully composed pair of vintage Chinese porcelain serving vessels, finished in a luminous pale seafoam celadon glaze with the serene, understated elegance for which Chinese ceramic arts are renowned.

The softly hued glaze has a remarkable depth and silky surface, allowing the graceful forms of each vessel to remain the focus. Together, the pieces present a harmonious combination of sculptural form, traditional botanical symbolism, and refined simplicity—equally suited to a sophisticated table setting or a curated collection of Asian decorative arts.

The Collection

Covered Bouillon or Sugar Bowl:
A beautifully proportioned lidded vessel with a softly domed cover and smoothly turned knob finial. The lower body is embellished with a subtle relief-carved lotus-petal motif, a time-honored element of Chinese decorative arts traditionally associated with purity, grace, and renewal.

Creamer or Small Pitcher:
A charmingly sculptural vessel with a rounded, organic silhouette, elegantly flared pouring spout, and integrated loop handle. Its restrained form and uninterrupted celadon surface give it a particularly graceful presence.

Celadon Glaze & Craftsmanship

Both pieces exhibit a lustrous, glass-like celadon glaze in a delicate seafoam tone. The glaze is exceptionally smooth and visually consistent, lending the pair a quiet sophistication that transitions beautifully between traditional and contemporary interiors.

The unglazed foot rings are consistent with traditional high-fired ceramic construction, providing an appealing contrast to the luminous glazed surfaces.

The combination of the celadon palette, sculptural silhouettes, and lotus-inspired relief creates an elegant expression of Chinese ceramic design with enduring decorative appeal.
